Obituary for Lois Wall Sandberg ‘51

Lois was a member of the Scot Band and Spanish Club. She majored in psychology. After graduation, Lois remained active with the college by attending Alumni Band events in Chautauqua, New York. Lois earned an associate’s degree in nursing from Niagara Community College in 1974. She worked as a registered nurse at WCA Hospital in Jamestown, New York until her retirement in 1986. Lois was always active in her church and volunteered for causes including the American Red Cross, the Humane Society, and the Jamestown Audubon Society. She had a passion for boating, skating, fishing, and camping. Her husband, H. Alan Sandberg, two sons, daughter, four stepsons, fifteen grandchildren, and brother survive her.
