Doris majored in religious studies. She attended the Ohio State University as an English and Women’s Studies major before leaving to pursue a life as a “spiritual feminist”. She was self-employed in Christian service that she called “Creative Ministries”. Doris’s son, sister, nieces, nephews, and great-niece, Carly Diroll-Black ’02, survive her.
