Charles majored in geology and was a member of Pi Sigma Alpha national honor society for political science. In 1940, he received his MA from The Ohio State University. He worked as a teacher and school administrator before becoming an organization development consultant until retirement. Charles’ wife, three children, including Christine Hutton ’67 and Richard Hutton ’68 survive him.
