The College of Wooster seeks volunteer leaders for various boards. Board members serve in an advisory and advocacy capacity on behalf of the College and when possible, represent the College at meetings, events, and programs. Volunteer leadership terms are three years. All nominees must be College of Wooster graduates.
Members of the entire College of Wooster community may submit nominations. For example, nominations may be submitted by:
- A College of Wooster Alumna/us
- An academic member of the College
- A staff member of the College
- The nominee
- A member of the College of Wooster community
The Alumni Board is an elected advisory group of The Alumni Association of The College of Wooster. The Alumni Board participates in meetings and a programs to support students, alumni, and the mission of the College.
The Black Alumni Council's purpose is to improve the students of color experience at The College of Wooster, enhance the opportunities available to students of color who attend The College of Wooster, and create a vehicle for on-going communication and interaction among alumni of color.
The International Student-Alumni Network (ISAN) is a constituent group of The College of Wooster. Membership is open to all former international students of The College of Wooster and any individual who supports the goals and purpose of The International Student-Alumni Network (ISAN).
The “W” Association is an alumni organization of The College of Wooster whose focus is on student athletes. The purpose of the “W” Association is to support intercollegiate athletics at the College, raise funds for the athletic program through the "W" Fund and honor alumni athletes who are outstanding in their accomplishments as well as others who have been outstanding supporters of the athletic program of the College.
