The Wooster Fund The Wooster Fund was established in 1926. Participation in The Wooster Fund is viewed as a measure of alumni satisfaction, which influences the College's ability to secure grants from corporations and foundations and is a determining factor in Wooster’s national ranking. More importantly, the money raised supports the College's operating budget and allows Wooster to sustain its commitment to excellence as the premier college for mentored undergraduate research. Gifts to The Wooster Fund allow the College to provide extraordinary opportunities for learning and discovery; to extend the financial aid program to every student who needs it; and to help meet emerging priorities and new challenges. Unrestricted funds give Wooster the flexibility to undertake critical new initiatives such as APEX (Advising, Planning, and Experiential Learning) and provide the ability to attract world-renowned faculty.
