Stock Gifts

Gifts of stock can be made through electronic transfer from your broker to Wooster’s account. The full market value of your stock is deductible, and you will avoid all capital gains on your gift. Contact The Office of Development for details at (330) 263-2325.

Matching Gifts

You can increase the value of your gift to Wooster if the company where you or your spouse currently works has a matching gift program. (And many companies continue to match retirees' gifts.) Taking advantage of company-sponsored matching gift programs can mean the impact of your gift will be greatly increased, perhaps even doubled. Find out if your employer will match charitable contributions made to educational institutions.
